No way. Nor would I (or allow my spouse or children) to ever get a prescription to any drug that advertises on TV. Every drug I've ever seen advertise on TV has a followup commercial within a year or two. The followup commercial I speak of is from a lawyers office and starts out like this: Have you or a loved one suffered from death, kidney failure, heart attack, liver damage, blah blah. If its a drug that hasn't been out for 10 years minimum, preferably 20 years, then I'm not going to be a statistic for a lawyer commercial. My approved drug list: Tylenol and Pennicillin. Anything not on my list, I'd rather suffer. The only exception is anti-biotics which you have to take, but most has been around a long time.
