I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, the world in regards to being "polite" is ending as we know it. I've also seen a customer like you at a store talking on his cell throughout his check out process and never even made an eye-contact with the cashier, who stood there trying to make her point!! It's sooo sad.. that we don't even say "hello" to another..
