When can I find a step by step tutorial for hosting a website at my pc at home?

Up to now I have done the folloing: Registered my own domain, installed apache tomcat but whenever i put my domain at apache installation, i see error messages. I have disabled windows firewall and I have declared which IP to use in TCP/IP settings.
