Ok once I put the throttle position sensor on a 98Mitsubishi Montero how do I take the check engine light off?

uming that was what was causing the code, either disconnect the battery for 5 or 10 minutes or pull the EFI fuse in the main fuse block for 5 or 10 minuetes. If the light comes back on the part you replaced was not the problem or not the only problem.
