Will a private candidate in 12th get a seat in good colleges?

I ped my 10th with 95% in 2009 but due to my health , had to discontinue inter 1st yr,but I didnt liked it.so,I am writing Inter 1st & 2nd year together as a private candidate (exemption of attendance) from Board of Intermediate Education ,AP state....I wanted to do BA in M Comm. But does a private student get a seat in good colleges like Manipal, Amity, etc??
