Do you think animals can sense when you're about to go into labor?

kinda crazy question, mostly for sh*t's & giggles, but i'm 37 weeks miserably pregnant waiting...being bored, haha. my dog is an 11 month old loveable mutt that's my little sidekick, always at my heels keeping an eye on me. he follows me around everywhere, always playing and sitting as close to me as he possibly can. for the past 2 days or so he's been completely ignoring me. he's usually really active, bringing his ball to me to throw or greeting me whenever i enter the room, but he hasnt been doing that at all. he's pretty much been keeping his distance. it's kinda sad actually, i miss him, but i was chatting with my neighbor and she said maybe it's because he can sense i'm about to go into labor. what do you think? did this happen to anyone?
