Do long distance friend ships really work?

A long distance friendship should be pretty easy these days. You obviously have access to a computer so you can e-mail each other, instant message and even voice chat instead of spending money on long distance. You won't be able to hang out in person until you can visit each other, but there's no reason to not stay friends with someone because you're moving. Good luck.
