Why do some women still expect to be treated special and pampered by the guys in courtship n in relationship?

Being treated "special" and being pampered is a sign that the other person likes and respects you. It has nothing to do with feminism or equality! It's part of courtship to show, by words and gestures, that you appreciate them and want to woo them (it goes two ways). So a guy might bring his g/f a bunch of flowers and maybe the girl will give her b/f that book that he's been raving about - for example.
